francesco ventrella is an art historian and independent curator
he is teaching assistant of art history and cultural analysis at the university of leeds (uk) - where he is completing a Ph.D titled 'the body of art history: writing - embodiment - and the connoisseurial imagination'

shows 'autoreverse' (2007) and 'fast forward' (2010) it takes place in the international project 'the invisible generation' by per hüttner and daniele balit after having participated to the 'tig' project in melbourne - robardet proposed to hitziger to continue their research by working on the same show in different locations indeed - robardet will be working in ukrain while hitziger will do the same in france - during three days every day - installations will be built and dismantled at night every step of the work will be hosted and streamed on the performance season website

harpa project is: gabriella arrigoni - free lance writer and curator - she holds an MA from accademia di belle arti di brera and earned a bachelor’s in art history at genova university - her writing has been published in several magazine both in italy and abroad
since 2006 she collaborates with undo.net as editor and she curated exhibitions in not-for-proft spaces in milan and rome - she is currently based in newcastle upon tyne, at the international centre for cultural and heritage studies
michela gulia is an independent curator - she has graduated at università 'la sapienza' (rome) and she has worked at fondazione baruchello (rome) - she is currently collaborating with undo.net for a special project focused on not-for-proft italian art spaces

stupidi organi is part of a bigger project that includes a series of silkscreen of inner organs figured like ambivalent organs/plants formes - the work include also an installation of fabric inner organs and a video showing an organism connected with an other organism
during the performance sara basta will put the inner organs under her clothes as thin as skin
she will transform her body as well as she will become a body full of things in which the inside reflects the outside
the analytic/clinical organs observation become the motivation to create a grotesque human being in which limits and identity are undefned - while a new natural and organic human being is growing inside her....

sara basta (1979) is studying performance video and photography at the fnnish academy of helsinki in the mfa held by eija liisa ahtila – she graduate in 2005 bfa in painting at the academy of fne arts of rome - from 2003 she studying contemporary dance and buto dance

an exercise is a small slice of an ongoing performance also called 'an exercise' (started spring 2008) in which sheila bishop logs her time exercising and her time doing anything related to art and art making

valerio del baglivo (1979 - roma) lives and works in milan. during the last two years he has been working as carlos basualdo assistant at iuav university of ﬁne arts in venice and he has been collaborating with the non proﬁt association connecting cultures
as an isola resident in milan he occasionly collaborates with berth theis and the isola art center
he revolves his researches around the existence of solidariety zones inside the art world, around artistic and curatorial practices linked with the notion of free culture - around self-deﬁtion and at least around the idea of withdraw as a form of protest against the art professional context

the video performance series I-copy consists of copying texts by interlining them with a handwritten version of the page’s content - directly inside the respective magazine or bookthe act is recorded on video; another trace of the performance is left inside the book itselfin I-copy #2 - kläring reproduces random excerpts of speeches by emma goldman by using the method of interlining existing texts by a handwritten copythese documents from an earlier live event are examined extensively and in very detail

failure and fatigue appear in the copy - handwriting gets unreadable; the act of repetition contains inherent potential for change

For Vision Forum 2009 The Grossi Maglioni Magic Duo proposes a festival of performance-art.

Several appointment between november 2009 and february 2010.

Live performance on web, archive production and lectures will encourage the participation of many artists from different places.

Every event could include presentations of the artists and talks around the "performance category", live performance and work on the archive.

Web-tv apart we are involving galleries, schools and art platforms in rome.

The goal for our proposal is to study and work around the performance art practice and its possible categories in a certain didactic approach

The research category for this Performance Season edition are:

REENACTMENT PERFORMANCE = reenactment of past performances; reenactment in General; retrace an historic event or the life of someone; identification, historical and anthropological research

PERFORMANCE THEATER = stage actions in not conventional spaces; performance for many bodies and performance for only one body; actorial; mix of various media; non-narrative performances

RANDOM PERFORMANCE = non planned actions; chaos applied to the performance; indefinite, linear and / or cyclic time; overcoming social limits or psychological pressure, public space performance, tasks performance

GENDER PERFORMANCE = performance to overcome physical limits; identity research, sexual background, roles exchange; disguising

Every performance categories comprise many subcategories, in order to make easy bring a performance in one of that four fields: we are not working in a reductionist way at all, as we are not interested in a strict classification, but we are trying to give many possibilities of inclusion.

Every performer can propose one or more project, and every proposal have to identify in one of these big range, considering also that the performance will be done in real time on web.

The performances have not limits about time or course of action but needs to be visible through the webcam or videocamera attached to your computer.

The performances will not be recorded from the tv channel, so the archive will be composed by any other documentation (photo, text, instruction, videostill) that we need to collect after the performance live.
